The Story
It all began the day before Hannah’s 12th birthday. Hannah was in the barn with her friends Sofia, Lisa and Sarah. While practising lassoing, the girls discovered a mysterious chest with the letters "H" and "C" on the lid.
Hannah opened the chest – and the friends were absolutely astonished. Inside the chest were photos of horses and a mysterious map. They thought they already knew every last inch of Lakeside.
What could be the meaning of the red X on the map between Lakeside Riding Stable and Peppertree Woods? The friends saddled their horses and galloped off – determined to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Family and Friends
Mr. Oliver Kramer & Jupiter
Mr. Kramer is Hannah's dad. His family is the owner of Lakeside, the beautiful estate surrounding the riding stable. He used to be a successful show jumper He now looks after the farm, the horse breeding and occasionally gives
riding lessons. riding lessons. His horse is the Hanoverian Gelding Jupiter.
Mrs. Caroline Kramer & Maya
Mrs. Kramer is Hannah's mum. She is a vet by profession. She has a clinic in Hazelwood and a mobile veterinary practice. She is a multi-tasking talent and a great role model for the girls. Her horse is the Appaloosa Mare Maya.
Mia Kramer & Spotty
Mia is Hannah's younger sister. Mia likes to play pranks and gets on the HORSE CLUB's nerves. She is super curious and enjoys solving puzzles with her friends. Mia can usually be found riding her bike or with her Shetland Pony Spotty.
Tom Johnson & Pino
Tom is a riding instructor at Lakeside and works in the Cups & Saddles Café. He likes to play tricks on the girls. Tom is like a big brother to Hannah. His horse is the Pinto Gelding Pino.
Emily Johnson & Luna
Tom's little sister Emily is a bit shy, but very nice and helpful.
She is the same age as the HORSE CLUB girls. Like Tom, Emily works in the stables and in the Cups & Saddles Café. She is very introverted, and horses are her best friends. When she rides her Holstein Mare Luna, she feels confident.
Tori Micheals & Princess
Tori is the spoilt daughter of businessman Mr. Michaels. Tori thinks she is something better. But secretly she would like to be part of the HORSE CLUB. If Tori wants to,she can be nice. Her pretty Friesian Mare Princess is a great dressage horse and has a keen sense of justice.
Mr. Anthony Michaels
Mr. Michaels is an unscrupulous,
greedy businessman from Springdale. He doesn't care about horses. His daughter
daughter’s horse is at Lakeside so that he can spend time there
and get information. He wants to
buy Lakeside.
Jimmy Micheals
Jimmy is Tori's older brother. He is a bit of a troublemaker and a bit goofy. He pretends not to like horses but is impressed by Cayenne and his wild and impetuous side. He often visits Lakeside with his father and sister Tori. Jimmy would like to stop behaving like an idiot. Will he manage that?
Arun Shah
Arun Shah is a good friend of the HORSE CLUB girls. He likes animals very much. He runs the Mill Animal Welfare Shelter and is
always ready to give advice and listen to his friends from the HORSE CLUB.
Mrs. Edith Jacobs
Edith Jacobs is an elegant, elderly lady. She is the owner of Mystery. She really likes the HORSE CLUB girls.
Anna Collins
Anna Collins is a businesswoman. She always brings Sofia small gifts from her travels as a thank you for caring for Blossom. The HORSE CLUB girls really admire her, when she talks about her travels.

Discover the HORSE CLUB world!
The Kramer family lives at Lakeside Riding Stable in a big house. They’re surrounded by lots of fields, horse paddocks and the Peppertree Woods. That’s where the HORSE CLUB members meet: Hannah, Sofia, Lisa and Sarah. The girls have a new adventure with their horses every day. They regularly go out riding and often encounter mysteries that they solve with the help of their fourlegged friends.
You'll find everything you need in the small village: Shops, schools, the Cups & Saddles Café, a riding shop and beautiful surroundings. Many places are just waiting to be explored by the girls: Waterfalls, caves, forests, old buildings, small mountains, old bridges and tunnels. Mrs. Kramer's vet clinic and Arun Shah's Mill Animal Welfare Shelter are also located in Hazelwood!
The Peppertree Woods is an enchanting, bright green and lush forest between Lakeside and Hazelwood. Sometimes the girls are convinced that the trees are whispering to them. Peppertree Woods is a magical place for great rides. It is home to deer, cattle and some wild horses. The HORSE CLUB loves nature and animals, so the girls make sure that nature is respected.
With a population of 120,000, Springdale is the business and cultural center of the entire region. In the past, countless show jumpers lived in Springdale; today you can find many museums, schools, shopping centers and other attractions there.
